As December rolled around the cold of winter descended on the castle. Beauxbaton students were particularly put out, shivering in their silk uniforms. On Friday as the group sat at dinner, Pierre complained:
“Oh this weather darlings. It iz freezing… I want to be ‘ome in Marseilles with a crème brûlée and a cognac… although a little Irish tipple could warm me up.”
He winked down the table to Seamus who looked down and blushed. Y/N was too focused on his dinner to notice, piling away steak and veg. Hermione and Lavender both chuckled before a stream of brown and white owls flooded the hall, dropping letters. On the Gryffindor table they dropped in Ginny, Maisy, Hermione and Lavender’s laps. At the staff table Penny, Aerith and Minerva all received one. Finally one landed in Beatrice’s hands at the Hufflepuff table.
For You I Will is returning soon.
