            *  and  mike  knows  this  part  —  the  coda,  where  the  song  is  nearly  coming  to  an  end,  because  he’s  heard  this  song  before.  on  the  radio  in  the  background  probably  ..  so,  knowing  this,  and  seeing  that  will’s  eyes  are  back  on  him-   something  comes  over  him,  like  some  odd  force  of  impulse,  and  he’s  leaning  forward  —  out  of  nowhere,  pressing  a  kiss  to  ..noticeably  soft  lips.  *

@smltown ▎okay.  cool.   *   the young teen responds,  easily,  quietly;    an echo of what was given to him.  they do it a lot,  truthfully.  echo each others words back,  as if they can’t hear enough of them.  he loves it.  he loves everything about their friendship.  it’s always..     it’s special.  they’re special.  *mike’s* special.  will’s never met anyone who fits so well in the chamber of his heart.   *

            *  slowly  but  surely,  he’s  leaning  closer  in  the  slightest,  the  hold  on  him  secure  ..almost  like  he  doesn’t  really  want  to  let  go  yet.  even  if  they  haven’t  gotten  very  long  until  the  song  concludes  ..  he  wants  to  spend  it  being  with  the  boy  he’s  comfortable  with.  it’s  truly  hard  not  to  be  mesmerised  by  the  features  of  beauty,  difficult  not  to  tighten  his  grip  and  pull  him  impossibly  closer.  despite  this,  he  still  ends  up  being  so,  blinking  out  of  it  and  stumbling  over  a  response.  *  huh  ..?—  oh-  yeah—  yeah-  it’s  cool  ..really  cool.
