"Mine has been a life of much shame, I can't even guess myself what it must be to live the life of a human being" - Dazai Osamu, No Longer Human
"If I was really a god, then I was the most incompetent god in the world. The most helpless god in the world who knew everything but couldn't explain anything."
- Kim Dokja
"Kim Dokja's salvation was cruel. Like rescuing a drowning person with a blade, those saved by him were inflicted with an unhealable wound."
- Jung Heewon about Kim Dokja
O' to live in ignorance... I can't help but want to be ignorant.
As they say, ignorance is bliss.
For example, Adam and Eve ate the fruit/apple shedding their ignorance and received knowledge in hopes of becoming a being in likeness to God. Yet, by doing so they were immediately ashamed and punished. Will that happen to us if we continue to search and understand?
Yet, it is being knowledgeable, that sets us apart from animals. Sometimes I envy the prey that accepts its part in the circle of life or the infant that has yet to develope a proper brain.
Since, I am human I have learned to separate things into sections such as good and bad. Ultimately, because I am human I am hypocritical, because I am human I am knowledgeable, because I am human; I wish to be ignorant, and because I am human I can br good, bad, and in-between.
(if only we werent so persistently curious to matters that are better not known) Everything has a price, to be knowledgeable is to be rid of the veil of ingnorance.
I'm immature most of the time but I am also an anxious overthinker.
