I can almost feel him in my head the incubus, taunting me, teasing me, staying just beyond reach. As I try and fail to weave him into the story, his lips trail my neck teasingly as he whispers, echoing not in my ear but in my head: ‘How dare you, human, deem yourself worthy to write about me?’
