I HAVE HAD STORIES POSTED ON ONE SITE DEVOTED TO ONLY FANFICTION FOR A FEW YEARS, JUST JOINED ANOTHER AMATEUR WRITERS' SITE BY INVITATION, AND HAVE YET TO POST ANY STORIES HERE DESPITE BEING A MEMBER SINCE 5/2015.

PERHAPS I WILL USE EACH PLATFORM TO SHOWCASE A DIFFERENT FACET OF MY VARIOUS POLISHED AND PERHAPS NOT-SO-POLISHED LITERARY GEMS.

ONCE I DECIDE WHICH PARTICULAR TYPE OF STORIES I WANT TO POST IN EACH FORUM, MY CHOICES FOR THIS WEBSITE WILL BE REFLECTED HERE.

SO FAR, I HAVE POSTED, ON ONE SITE, DRAMA STORIES DEALING WITH A SINGLE SET OF CHARACTERS FROM ONE SINGLE TV PROGRAM (WHICH INCLUDES A MAJOR ORIGINAL CHARACTER) SO THE FIELD IS WIDE OPEN!

NOW THAT I'M RETIRED, I HAVE MORE TIME TO WRITE AND HOPE TO ADD STORIES TO MY 3 ONLINE AUTHOR ACCOUNTS, INCLUDING HERE, SOON!

ADVICE TO NEW WRITERS:

I started writing as a hobby in 1975 or so and quickly realized a few things many fanfiction writers have yet to figure out, such as:
In order to write a story, first you must have a story to write! If you write just to write and have nothing original to actually contribute towards a bona fide STORY, then do everyone a favor and DON'T write in public; keep it to yourself until you have an actual STORY! So-called "Mary Sue" stories and slash fiction are a dime a dozen, they are 10 times tamer and 100 times more boring than anything I can write for myself, and belong in a drawer beside your bed, in my opinion, and not on an actual amateur fiction website.
And, please - DO get a BETA READER or two to correct spelling and grammatical errors so your story makes sense to your readers and can be easily read! Else you may drive away potential fans/friends/reviewers (like me, for one!).
