Oh hey, long time no see Wattpad. Let's catch up.
The reason I vanished is for a couple of reasons, but mainly as I was strongly advised by some published authors that having a free version of my project available could hurt my chances of getting it trad published, so I removed Persistent Silence from Wattpad last year. Since I never actually revealed the ending even when it was up, I should be fine, but that's what it disappeared! I'm still working hard on it, and am very excited about it.
But because of that, I don't see myself returning to Wattpad full time any time soon, since I don't want to hurt my chances for trad pub. But I am still around and you are always welcome to shoot me a message!
Speaking of PS, my query letter for it appeared on a podcast! This episode of the podcast focuses on what an agent is thinking when they read a query letter, definitely take a listen; I found listening to Devon's comments extremely insightful.
One last thing, if you are interested in being a beta reader for PS, shoot me a DM or comment here and I can add you to the list! It'll still be a while before I can send it out as I need to do some more edits (Devon's comments on the query really helped me understand just how much more edits I need to make on this thing ) but I should be ready for beta readers before the end of the year.

@caprihornythegreat Aw thank you! I removed it because I've been talking with published authors who warned me not to post anything I want published online, since most publishers want first-rights and putting things up on Wattpad counts unfortunately. I haven't stopped writing and can send stories over Google Docs! I've just stopped posting on here.

So...Chapter 15 is currently clocking in at 6,000 words, so I'm doing something a bit different and splitting up the chapter since there's a nice breaking point and that's an excessive amount of scrolling.
