salutations, welcome to my TED talk,

the reason we're here is to assign a taylor swift song to greek gods.

i'll start. my chosen song for apollo is the archer. reasons? the line "i've been the archer, i've been the prey" refers to apollo being a powerful god, and killing people with his arrows for fun, and being turned mortal three times, being turned in the same species he hunted. "who could ever leave me, darling?, but who could stay?" refers to some of his lovers. being inmortal, it's inevitable for his lovers to die, no matter how much he loved them.

          	thank you.
