@goofball2009 honestly i get where you’re coming from 100% bc im from the south and they really dgaf abt black peoples feelings down here or what they say.. but i think it’s more of the fact that jack knows that people were already looking at him sideways beforehand for profiting off black culture and then he says what he said as a sort of “i proved yall wrong” in regards to him crossing over to white genres of music.. it was lowkenuinely a slap in the face to the community because like we’re already on edge and then you putting the cherry on top to all that by saying “you got blacker” and i will not lie at first i tried not to care at all bc i was a supporter for a long time but then i was like yeah im not feeling this
