Chapter One of Into Darkness is now posted! I have been working ahead on some of the later chapters as well so that I have a good view of where things will go and to hopefully lead to an easier time posting new parts.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you to everyone who has been reading my story “Into Darkness”. Unfortunately, I will be removing it tonight due to the fact that I am currently going through a major rework. I know this might turn people away but I feel this is the best course of action for me to get the story out the way I have always seen it, along with changes as I originally began creating it when I was only 13 years old. 
          
          I recently found my old drafts and character profiles from years ago which has helped me greatly. 
          
          Each week I will be publishing one chapter at least, more if I am able to put more time into it. Thank you again to everyone who has followed me and viewed the story so far and for those of you who decide to stay and see what comes next I greatly appreciate it!

Hello! Here is a quick synopsis:
            
            Long ago, civilization collapsed. Ravaged by a deadly disease, most of humanity crumbled with only those who knew how to survive being able to handle the new and unforgiving world. Hundreds of years passed, and those who remain, now descendants of those who were able to adapt, form small communities and towns, getting by through trade and constant work to sustain themselves. During the days, the people tend to crops, prepare necessities such as blankets, clothing, and wood for fires and building. During the nights, everyone stays shut inside their homes in fear of the creatures that roam in the dark.
            
            Those who remain now struggle with survival and the need to make decisions that could impact their own humanity under the constant threat of death. The only way to survive is to do whatever it takes, no matter the cost. Can humanity prevail? Or will everyone inevitably succumb into darkness?
