So, what comes next?

'To Love Would be to Lose my Mind' is the next chapter in my series of alternative universe fanfictions. Set in the late 1930s, learn an anthropomorphic retelling of The Fox & The Hound that spans between two old friends and secrets that they never would have expected to share as they reunite for the first time in over thirty years.

It's probably the angstiest fanfic I've written so far (for now at least), from beginning to end. I got inspiration to write this after rewatching some of my favorite vampire movies and after a late night Disney movie marathon. It's pretty different from the two PAW Patrol fanfictions I've worked on, but it's something that I think people might find interesting... if they're willing to get through a lot of sad stuff.

The first chapter will release at midnight! I'll (probably) see you there if this interests you!

So, let's address the elephant in the room.

I started and last updated my PAW Patrol fanfiction, Revelation, back on the day after Valentine's Day and originally planned to update it periodically over time before the end of the summer. However, things didn't go according to plan, unfortunately.

I'm not going to draw this out and I'm just going to cut right to the chase: I lost a lot of motivation to write for Revelation.

Ever since I uploaded the first chapter, I had been so busy with life that I barely had enough time to properly finish the second part of the prologue. I had to move, had to deal with several financial related issues, many issues with my family, and so much more. Not only that, but mixed in with additional factors (like work,) the amount of time I wanted to write for Revelation was exceedingly short in comparison to last year when I was updating S&S.

As a result, my motivation for Revelation and didn't want to end up writing the fic out of stress and completing it for the sake of it being done. I wanted to give it more time to properly flesh it out, let people become immersed with the story. I realized that wouldn't be possible if I was just pumping out short, soulless chapters as a result.

That being said, I don't want to /abandon/ Revelation. I still have the progression entirely mapped out, alongside it's characters and elements. I *want* to finish it for not only myself, but for the readers who are intrigued in the story. Hence why instead of cancelling it, I'll be putting it on a momentary hiatus.

This hiatus will last for a good period of time, but when all is said and done, Revelation will be updated and completed. This break from writing it is both to pursue my writing for other projects and so that the final product can be a completed, lengthy, story for everyone to enjoy.

So, what comes now? With Revelation paused, what will be coming next?

I'll be answering that question at 10:00 PM [EST].

Tomorrow afternoon (05/01), I'll be posting two things. One will be a fanfiction I have been working on in secret during my absence of chapters for Revelation. The second thing I'll be posting is a long statement regarding the reasons why I have not been updating the fic.

I will be replying to any questions then, whether it's regarding update concerns or questions circulating a fic's plot, I'll be far more interactive during that period rather than I have been recently.

          Sorry for the inconveniences.
