28 views on my story so far! I know it's not much but that's a lot more than I expected. Thank you all so much

I watch A_Girl57 as she steps off the stage, a big smile blooming onto my face. I whoop in joy. Wow, I think. Sixteen whole views. Never, in my life, I could ever make that goal! I clap in harder until my hands burn, pride swelling in my chest. I look at SportsNerd13, a big grin on both of our faces. SNiffing, she says, "Our little Footstool, all grown up with sixteen while views on her book!" We both tearfully praise out little Footstool , for the best night of her life.

"Thank you! Thank you!" I say as I walked onto the stage. I go over to the podium, smiling a big grin that goes from ear to ear. I accept the little gold trophy shaped as a book from a guy in a suite. After I take it, the guy walks off the stage to let me give my speech. 
           "I would first off like to tell you all how very grateful and excited I am for getting this award tonight. But I would also like to say my thanks to everyone, for there was no way I could do this alone. Sixteen views! Wow! 
          "I would like to thank GigiTheGeekyGirl for being my first ever view, comment, and vote. She was also the person who really inspired me to write this story so really, this award might as well go to her. Thank you so much Gigi!" I start to clap and the audience follows.
           "I would also like to thank SportsNerd13 for being my second view and being very supportive. Thank you!" We clap for her too.
           "Next I would like to thank my parents for raising me to be the person I am today and for letting me be whoever I wanted to be, as long as I didn't break any laws." The audience laughs. "Thank you guys a lot. I couldn't have done this if it wasn't for you." We clap for them as well.
           "And lastly, I would like to thank all of the readers out there who made the big sixteen possible. Thank you for taking the time to read my one short chapter and I hope you will read more. Thank you and good night!" The crowd goes wild as I exit the stage. 

@meghamayank I didnt mind at all. It was really good and written with beautiful language. I recommend that you edit and read over it a few times before uploading it, for there were a few mistakes. But dont get me wrong, the way you described everything was just breathtaking. Keep up the good work and please continue writing.
