What about (angst)
Stanley loves the freedom ending and does it every time until the player or a virus takes control of him which then leads to him doing every ending before the narrator finally realizes what’s going on and removes the player or virus. After Stanley recovers from the trauma of seeing every ending he continues doing the freedom ending. The two continue but the narrator used to interacting with who he thought was Stanley tries to communicate with him again. Either it fails or he succeeds and Stanley starts talking with him (using whiteboard or thoughts if he’s mute) they do the freedom ending while bonding and the narrator convinces Stanley to take alternate paths once and a while to which Stanley reluctantly agrees having been scarred by the other endings and only finding true comfort during the freedom one. After a while the narrator goes to love Stanley but figures it isn’t reciprocated so he holds his tongue until he simply cannot resist telling Stanley he loves him. Stanley reminds him of the time he said “who would be that committed to you” plus the rest of the fake wife ending, as well as the countdown ending, cold feet ending, games ending (when Stanley gets abandoned after the narrator gets bored of playing different games and decides to just leave him) museum ending, and any other ending that involved Stanley suffering. The narrator tries to explain that he didn’t know that it wasn’t Stanley and that he was sorry but Stanley just shakes his head and goes through the freedom ending no longer even slightly branching out to even write on the whiteboard in the meeting room as the narrator, heart broken, does what he’s supposed to do and tells his story. And Stanley is happy, but The Narrator is not and he never will be.

Another crack idea (fluff + funny)
They just play mine craft all day one of them gets blown up a creeper (probably Stanley) narrotor makes a snarky comment about how his THE END IS NEVER THE END is better than Minecrafts Respawn
Narrator enjoying figuring out crafting while Stanley enjoys slaying mobs making narrator confused because there are no things for Stanley to kill in the parable and he was never programmed with the intention of killing other animals. They get into a fake fight using wooden swords. Stanley cheats so the narrator builds a Minecraft version of the serious room and takes Stanley into to scold him for cheating.
They place their beds beside each other and are wholesome about it and after some convincing from Stanley they raid a village and have a blast doing so. Of course they also mine diamonds at some point.

Another more simple idea (angst to fluff)
Narrator confesses his feelings to Stanley but Stanley says that it can’t be because he isn’t even a character and that he’s just the narrator. So the narrator makes himself a character/physical form and rewrites the script so he can also be a character in the story. Maybe he wrote himself as a fellow employee who is also confused on where all the other employees went an employee that happened to have the code to the door. Although Stanley is confused why the narrator wanted to be in the parable so badly he accepts it and enjoys spending time with him.

            Crack idea (fluff + funny)
The narrator literally makes the bucket his physical form to get Stanley’s attention
