Really, I don't think anything I tell you about myself will ever be relevant in any way, so I won't waste my time saying much. But, I will tell you this:

I reflect myself in everything I write. All of my characters are like different versions of me in alternate universes. I feel like the connection between author and character is important to make, and that is why I have chosen to tell you about my own connections. My characters often react to scenarios similar to the way I would, or have one of my traits, or go through something I have experienced myself. Even small things, like dropping my ice cream on a man's shoes and trying to pick it up again. Realism makes fiction all the more interesting.

Also, if you like whales, we will be friends. ;D
