There’s a story I’ve been toying with in my head, (not that I’ll ever get around to writing T^T,) but I’ve got some issues with the plot. The two main characters are either immortal or age very slowly, because I feel like their relationship needs to have more then an average life span of background— but I can’t think of a reason why that isn’t too fantasy or sci-fi. The story would be set in a gritty, modern world, and the characters are each in it appear to be in their late thirties to early forties.
Any ideas are appreciated, thank you! :]
@A_Quirky_Rat Are you trying to make it not sound like sci-fi/fantasy? Cuz what you could do is say it's part of their genetics. You could say that they both had a relative who lived to be at least 100 and that they both could have the possibility of living that long. I don't really know exactly if that's how genetics work, but it could just be a random idea
