I started writing poetry in my late teens and stopped in my early 20's when I met my wife. In 2012 my friend @MariaCooney pestered me to put some of my old poems onto Wattpad, after a bit of resistance I gave in and submitted a couple. I was very surprised and uplifted by the response I received. I submitted some more and again I received good positive feedback. My creative juices were starting to flow again and I wrote my first poem in over 20 years which is called Cover Girl! I submitted it and got excellent feedback, I started writing again and I enjoy it more now than ever! I'm not a prolific writer, work and family life keep me busy but I manage to write a little and friends say to me it's quality rather than quantity, haha!
