Re-written first chapter of Dokyeom's Assertion will be out today! I hope it is more nuanced than the one I wrote earlier :) I have included a couple more details to the first chapter to make them exciting! Happy reading and extremely sorry for making you wait!

Hello lovelies!
          
          I know I promised that I'll update Seokmin's Assertion soon. But unfortunately my mom had to be admitted in the hospital after her BP shot up. It was asymptomatic so none of us knew. She just went for her normal checkup with my dad when her GP panicked after checking her pressure and referred her to the cardiologist in the hospital. Then he panicked because it was an emergency and he referred her to a speciality hospital. They took her in the ambulance with a nurse and an emergency doctor on standby during which mom was completely fine. But Saudi health care protocols! But not complaining at all because mom received the best care possible!
          
          In the speciality hospital she was taken to the emergency room and was then kept in observation for a few hours before the doctor decided that she'd have to be admitted in the ICU because she didn't show any symptoms at all. So they deemed her high risk and was kept in ICU for observation for two days. She was discharged yesterday only after all her tests came out okay and pressure was stabilized. So I just wanted to share what happened in our lives this week and why it would take sometime for me to update as she needs my care.

          How are you??

Hello!  How are you all? I am here after a long time, and I have things to talk with you 
          
          I was reading through the chapters I have published so far for Seokmin's Assertion to continue writing the story and I must say that I realised that the way I had written it so far has strayed far away from what I had in mind when I initially started writing it. The writing is a mess I realised and I didn't like the fact that I didn't flesh out the characters more. They feel wishy-washy, now that I read the chapters all together. I had also included an unnecessary storyline inside which doesn't make sense now as I am at a crossroads on how to connect everything together. 
          
          So instead of continuing with the story, I have decided to edit the chapters and tweak them a little so that they are on the right track. As of now it feels more like a delirious fever dream and nothing like the story I envisioned. 
          
          But I need your help in deciding if I should keep this version while I publish a new version and make the tweaks in the same story itself. I hope you'll help me take a decision because I am utterly confused. But Seokmin's Assertion will continue!
          
          Also thank you so much for waiting for me and for reading my story. Please bare with me while I get my creative thoughts in order.

I am so sorry guys! I said I'll update a few days ago but mentally I've not been good the past few days. That along with physical exhaustion has completely drained me. I have so many ideas but I am extremely tired to pen them down and even if I do, the words are not flowing like how I want them to. I wanted to update one chapter at least before Ramadan but I couldn't. So I would like to take a big break this time as it is Ramadan as well. I hope you'll not hate me for this and I hope to see you all when I come back, which will be very soon. I am so sorry :'(
