Hoping this gets noticed. After 6 years, (8 years since actually writing it) I stumbled across my first attempt at writing a novel. I was 16 at the time, with little to no experience in writing. and reading back I actually laughed at my attempt. It was rather feeble. After reading the first few paragraphs, something unexpected happened. My mind started to fill with new ideas, how I can improve my story. before I knew it, I had written a much better version of the first page.

looking at the tags of this post, you can get a general idea of the direction i'm hope to go.

I decided to stop where I was. I realised that diving head first into writing, without a plan, isn't exactly good. with any spare time I get, I'm going to build up my stories structure, and eventually finish writing it. I don't remember an awful lot about creative writing from school, but I do feel as if I have a much better grasp on it than I did back then. I was 16 when I first wrote it, I am now a month from turning 25. I have always been told, it's never too late

I'm going to post My revised first page, those that see this, could you please read both the first draft and the revised draft, and give me some feedback. I would greatly appreciate it.
