I grew up on the rough streets of East Vancouver surrounded by criminals, both organized and disorganized.  I was somewhat confused as I matured when I learned that everyone wasn't connected to a mob family, and when I told them the stories of my youth, they said 'you should write a book'.  So I wrote three.
