Hi!! I just wanted to say I am obsessed with your story! Like seriously—the plot, the twists, the emotions, the way you write—everything is just PERFECT I honestly feel like your story deserves wayyy more appreciation because it’s so unique and beautifully written. Your characters feel so powerful and intense, and you build those climactic moments so perfectly that I literally can’t stop reading

I recently started writing my first story on Wattpad, and I’m still learning, so I wanted to ask if you have any tips on how to attract more readers, like how to write good descriptions, update consistently, or make a story stand out? Your advice would mean a lot to me

Also, if it’s okay with you… I’d really love to be friends! You seem like such a genuine and talented person, and it would be amazing to connect with someone who loves writing too ✨

Thank you for sharing your talent with us! Keep shining and writing

@SkylineRacer Honestly wattpad is very very user friendly. I actually had no idea about the rules and regulations here. I just blindly started writing my book. As a new writer you can upload any story you want, but if you want to get attention then you should have a catchy title and cover. Those are the ones a reader first notices. About updating be regular and most importantly finish your story first in drafts. You will never know when you story goes viral and readers will be pissed if you don't upload the next chapter on time. Moreover most readers prefer completed story, so don't worry if you story is not getting any views. They are just waiting for it to be completed. And these are the things i usually plan beforehand when i write. 1. the main plot (how it starts, what makes the story to continue, how it ends) 2. The romance (slow build to hard core) 3. Relatable situations (it makes reader to familiarize more with the character) 4. Spicy scenes (I usually plan how much intensity and how or where are they doing it) 5. Arguments / fights (this is must for me cuz i want the character to miss eachother then patch up again with a spice) 6. Interesting side characters (add cold ones, funny ones, grumpy ones) Sometimes side characters carry the story 7. Humor 8. In my book i start with Title page, dedication, playlist, Author note, chapters and final author's note. I plan them beforehand. It's just a way to ease the readers into the story. I am currenly working on a story as well but it's been weeks since i've touched it. I have writer's block and i need more inspiration so i am watching movies and tv shows. You can get inspiration from anywhere but try not to copy it. Cuz if one person find it out then they'll suspect your whole work. Sometimes i will put that "I inspired this scene from this movie" in a small note below. so you'll be in a safe circle. Umm... So that's all for now. And we about being friends... Absolutely bestie. Will support you!!!! Aashini Xo

@Aashini04 OMG I feel so honoured that you replied to me! I honestly didn’t expect it and I’m still freaking out a little because I truly admire you and your writing. I actually read your book “Tempt the Devil” too before this, and I instantly fell in love with your writing style there as well. The emotions you write are so raw and powerful it just sticks with you as a reader ❤️ Thank you so much for sharing tips with me, it really means a lot! I’m new to writing on Wattpad so I’m still trying to figure everything out. Since you’ve been here longer, can you also tell me if there are any important Wattpad rules or things I should know as a new writer? Like anything about updating, interacting with readers, copyrights, or just how things work here? I don’t want to make any mistakes Your advice truly helps and I appreciate you taking time to talk to me. You’re honestly so kind and humble and I'm really happy we’re talking I really hope we can stay connected and be friends! ✨
