          I'd like to offer this to you, I sent it to someone else the other day, and I think it's worth practicing this. 
          
          Take it with a grain of salt, it's just something that I've practiced for a while and it helps considerably.
          
          When you actually sit down to write, put your fingers on the keyboard, hit that first letter of your story, and begin. 
          Start pounding it out.. 
          Do not stop to edit, or spell check, or to worry about what you just wrote. 
          
          You are going to go through a thousand edits anyways, save that crap for later. 
          
          Just put all that shit that's in your head on to your keyboard, then into your hard drive. 
          If you don't write it down, it never happened. 
          
          When you are done for the day, give it a once-over without editing, afterwards put it away for a day. When you come back to it with a fresh eye and mind, you can begin your first edit. 
          
          
          May not be everybody's cup of tea, but hey it works for me.
