@MasonVerger || "She used the first one," Abigail said, figuring it was best to just come out and admit it. "She said you've made her life a living hell in a variety of ways."

Forcing herself to continue staring at him, she said, "But I've learned that there's usually a lot more to a person than what everyone says. Not always, but sometimes."

@MasonVerger || "Oh," Abigail said, subconsciously stepping back from him. "So that's the kind of person you are. Prey on the weak, mostly because you're stronger."

"You want to know about me?" she asked. "Fine then. Before my father went completely insane, I had a pretty good life ahead of me. I was getting ready to start college preparation. I didn't know what I wanted to do, but apparently I was plenty smart."

Abigail closed her eyes for a moment, remembering what her life had been before it had flipped completely over. "I like reading, I always have...but I love the outdoors. Especially when it's quiet and peaceful. After being locked up indoors for so long..." Her voice drifted off as she thought about it all.

@Abigail_Hobbs || He sighed and gave a nervous, high-pitched giggle, "Well, she described me close enough to the truth." He fondled the ring on his finger and leaned against the wall, not making eye contact with the girl, "I suppose I'm not ashamed to admit that I've done things to her, but in my defense, it's not like she really fights back." He giggled and it seemed as if he was completely unrepetant in his actions. He simply didn't care what people thought of him anymore; let them believe he was a monster. What harm could they do?

"Tell me a bit about yourself, Miss Hobbs." He said abruptly, interrupting the silence in the room, "I've heard only the basics about you and I'm interested to learn more." He finally made eye contact with her and flashed a charismatic smile. "You don't have to of course, but It would make for an interesting conversation don't you think?"

Abigail ran her fingers through her hair, still trying to think through the idea of getting her story out. "I mean, it would be nice to know that someone had my truth out there."

Molly took a few tentative steps forwards, looking over the girl that stood in front of her. So this was Abigail Hobbs - she'd heard about her, yes, she just wasn't sure quite how. She decided against waiting for Abigail to notice her and just spoke up.

"Um...hello, there," she said, her lips automatically curling into an awkward smile. "You must be Abigail Hobbs."

//talking to myself in the hopes that perhaps it'll allow me to switch between voices better woop//

@Abigail_Hobbs || "Sounds like something you might want to do in private," Molly said, putting on a weak smile. "I don't think it would be best to spread it around where everyone can see...and hear. I know you want the truth to be out there, but the truth'll get you a lot of attention."

@Molly_Hooper || "So you know Will Graham," Abigail said softly. "Guess I should've guessed that much." She took a deep breath before continuing. "No wonder you don't think badly of me. People like to spread rumors all over the place."

Now feeling a little more comfortable around Molly, she took a few steps forwards. "Not that I want to burden you with anything, but if you want I can tell you what's really happened with me so that you get my side of the story."

There sure are a lot of plot twists when it comes to you, Abby.

MasonVerger

@Abigail_Hobbs || He tries smiling for her, but he knows as he does that it must look more like a grimace.

"Have you?" He closed his eyes and pressed his thumb against the area above the bridge of his nose to ease the impending headache, but it does nothing. "Tell me, how does she describe my reputation?" he outstretches on hand and wiggles it a bit, "Does she say that I'm a monster with terrible moral standards or-" he pauses and repeats his actions with his other hand, "does she say that I'm an angel sent from heaven?" He looked between the two hands and dropped them to his sides lazily, "I'm sure she used the first hand to describe me... She normally does. It's tiring really, listening to her accuse me of being destructive and abusive."

@MasonVerger || "Good," she said. "I don't think I could handle more people trying to get into my mind after everything. I just hope there isn't too much of a mess when people realize that I'm not dead..." Despite Abigail's hopes, she felt rather sure that it would all dissolve into an enormous mess come the discovery of her life.

"Yeah, Verger, I've heard about you before," she replied, nodding several times. She made sure to take a moment to arrange her hair and scarf before continuing. "I've spoken to your sister Margot..."

@Abigail_Hobbs || He gave a cheeky smile, "Yeah well, your antics have made quite the name for yourself. Thankfully you're yesterday's news, just another name on a list." He rubbed his hands together, trying to get some warmth on him in this cold weather, "Nobody will be bothering you anytime soon. They all think you're dead." He let out a soft chuckle and than said suddenly, smacking his forehead with his palm, "Seems as if I forgot to introduce myself! My name's Mason Verger, heir to the Verger Meat Packing Dynasty, blah blah blah..." he waved his hands around, showing that he really couldn't care less about explaining anymore about himself.

"Abigail. Will told me a little about you, He cares for you a great deal."

Abigail_Hobbs

@EffySigynStonem Abigail shifted around uncomfortably, knowing that Effy was staring at her. It was her fault, of course, for drawing attention to where ear used to be.

"Yeah...it's nice to meet you, Effy. And thank you," she said, tugging slightly at the ends of the scarf in order to tighten them. She had her hair to cover one scar, and the scarf to cover another.

Effy's eyes went wide as Abigail unknowingly revealed her lack of an ear. She tried her best to not stare, but then found that was all she could look at. She cleared her throat and focused on the wall behind her. "Well, we all have our scars don't we? Some are just more visible then others. Also, your lucky that your hair looks very good down. Oh I mean, who needs two ears, that's a bit greedy isn't it? Fuck, I mean...let's start over. I'm Effy, I don't think I introduced myself properly. And I really like your scarf."

@EffySigynStonem "Mad?" Abigail asked, trying to force out a laugh in order to lighten the mood (and utterly failing). "No, I'm not mad. You said it right - wounded. Mentally and physically, unfortunately enough for me." She subconsciously raised a hand up to her neck, then tracing a line to where her ear used to be.
