Okay so It's been a fuckin minute but I'm still here. I have an idea.
          	
          	I wanna somehow include Mephiles the Dark from Sonic '06 in MTJaS. I know Sonic '06 is the hottest of ass, but Mephiles is genuinely a cool villain to me. I might have it be akin to Shadow Generations, maybe one of the characters ends up in a sorta time void similar to the White Space (hell, it might even BE the White Space) and there they somehow come across Mephiles, who's sealed in some sort of structure or dungeon kinda like how he is in Shadow Generations (which I really like that they did by the way, really confirms that bro is DANGEROUS). Basically, they find Mephiles and he tries to kill them and they go into a Shadow Gens-style fight with Mephiles yelling about how he'll defeat them and restore himself to the timeline in their place (btw I think the character might either be Filo or Raphtalia, or maybe even Queen Mirellia so I can write a scene to really show her power as a Keyblade Master, which she is in the fic).

So it's been a HOT minute since I last updated MTJaS Re:Written. Work's been taking up too much of my time for me to feel motivated to write it. It's kinda been on an unannounced hiatus.
          
          But I have an idea that might put me back into writing it.
          
          See, I've been slowly but surely getting into Sonic lately. Listening to the music, watching both the movies, seeing gameplay on YouTube, that kinda thing. And I'm a particular fan of the genius with the master plan - Doctor Eggman.
          
          And I wanna have him as a villain later on down the line in MTJaS Re:Written. I'll probably have Sonic appear as well, but mainly it'll be focused on Eggman. My idea is that during the arc where Aris and his friends are looking for the former villagers of Lurolona, that they'll find Eggman capturing them to use as subjects for his experiments.
          
          Also at some point I wanna have Eggman use some sort of gadget to hack into every crystal ball in Melromarc and broadcast himself to the kingdom. And you best believe he'll be opening it with "I've come to make an announcement"

I have the next chapter of MTJaS Re:Written in the works! Should be published sometime today or tomorrow!
          
          Also, another update about my Gen 9 idea for the story: I want to include a new area in Glass's world. It's gonna be based on Area Zero! And because of that, I may just include some existing paradox Pokemon as well as some fanmade ones!

I haven't updated More Than Just a Shield Re:Written in a while since I've been focusing on something big: a move to Colorado. My dad is retiring from the Navy in a few months and already has a job at a small hospital in a dinky little town nestled in the Rockies (not gonna say which town for privacy reasons, but I love it here). I've also been looking for a job in the area, and I should have one lined up at that same hospital, just stocking shelves and whatnot.
          
          But anyway, I've been coming up with some ideas for MTJaS Re:Written. Mainly concerning the arc in which Aris and the others end up in Glass's world. If you read the original, you'll remember that Pokemon play a big part, replacing the Shikigami from the original anime/light novel (Kizuna's penguin Shikigami was a Piplup for example). That'll return, and I may add onto it as well. For one, I've been into Gen 9 recently. Like, REALLY into Gen 9. I love it. So I may have Terastallization be present in Glass's world like it is in Paldea and Kitakami. Actually, speaking of Kitakami, I may write a small side story set after the final battle of the anime's second season, and I'm thinking about basing it on the Teal Mask DLC from Scarlet/Violet. And yes, Ogerpon may make an appearance!

So, thoughts on the Super Bowl.
          
          On one hand, Taylor Swift might put out a new banger dedicated to Travis Kelce if the Chiefs win. I'm no Swiftie, but my sister kinda is and I think she'd find it cool.
          
          On the other hand, it's gonna be so funny to see all the Swifties crying on Twitter/X if the 49ers win. But then again, some of them are so terminally obsessed with Taylor that they might somehow mail Brock Purdy a live pipe bomb or something.
