'Unbroken' is now my first fic to have exceeded 100 kudos on Ao3 and I hate it XD
But it is a nice reminder that you can go as hard as you like in writing and there will always be someone that supports it. It's a real slap in the face to those who recently spent their free time shitting on me for it

I am utterly speechless after the new that came from BPS, but I want to make one thing clear:
I am not walking away
I do not support David, I do not condone his actions, and I will not have my work associated with him. I do however respect the decisions made by the remainder of the team following these actions. I understand what must be done; but as I said,
I am not walking away. My heart and soul went into the fandom. Walking away now would be ripping them from my chest. I won't
My SoW work will remain online for everyone, art and all, and I will continue to support new works and people who walk into the fandom unaware. I enjoy reading SoW, I enjoy watching SoW, and I enjoy drawing SoW, and seeing others' SoW art. That won't change
I'm heartbroken that this has happened to such a wonderful little fandom

@Dragonberry16 how did I discover Songs of War? Now that is a question. I'll keep it brief for you It was little more than a year after SoW had first come out. I'd come home from uni for winter break but I had to prepare for exams, so myself and my mum were cleaning out the spare room so I had a place to study. We paused for dinner, and I went and sat in the living room with my sister who was watching a Minecraft animated movie. I wasn't really paying attention to it until Thalleous was killed in that scene. *Then* I started paying attention to it, and have been ever since. I strangely connected with it (although ig I had my reasons to at the time) I joined the BPC discord in the January, used my brand new drawing tablet to draw SoW shortly after, read the script in the February, and my first fic Aftermath was in the March, and because of Covid, I wasn't able to go back to uni, so I stayed at home with my sister and this new MC obsession, and here we are XD

Thank you for adding What Have I Done to your Songs of War reading list, it's really motivating for me. For some reason, chapters in this fanfiction take me a lot of effort to write. So this is the ultimate test of my writing stamina.

@AceandShadow_ Yeah. I think what has helped me for motivation has been writing at the same time as another writer about a similar topic. This is because writers seem to better relate and keep engaging even when no one else does (not that someone who doesn't write is more rude or something). Maybe writing a few chapters before publishing to see if you have enough motivation to write the story would be a good idea.

@IngressusWrites it's more of a "I refuse to cancel anything" thing. My mental stability may have benefitted had I not forced myself to finished one or two of my stories. Others I wished I had the motivation to write *more* sequels; but ultimately I relied heavily on the engagement from my audience, which quickly dwindled, thus did my motivation. Play it by ear

Honestly when I was writing on a different account on Wattpad years ago, I basically lost motivation to write immediately after publishing one part of a story. Fortunately my discipline got better. Kudos to you for managing to still get that story done
