I also recommend starting with a fandom and Ship you know that most about, you could use “funny past events that happened in the fandom”. Take South Park for example :
The episode called crème Fraîche? Make Stan remember about that fiasco and make a joke about it! That but with whatever fandom you or the wheel chose for! I really hope these tips help you on writing your very first FanFiction! xx
