I'm a reader all the time and a writer sometimes.



As a reader, I enjoy stories with complex characters, antiheroes, real or imagined settings (and the spaces in between), Victorian Gothic nods, and the occasional bit of weird.



As a writer, I appreciate when readers tell me:

-If they like something, especially if they think it is funny;

-If they are confused or don't understand what is going on; and

-A best guess of what might happen next.



Unrelated to words, I am an avid pasta fan, know entirely too much about vampires, live for rainy days, believe in the Oxford comma, and am still trying hard to make friends with the local crows.
