I have always loved reading and writing stories but held them as a part of my life that came behind everything else in priority.

As I get older, though, I find that these characters and tales banging against the inside of my head just won't be quiet until I let them out. So I write them, and tell them, in places like Wattpad and around the family story circle on Sunday nights.

And speaking of "night," most of my stories tend toward the macabre end of the fiction spectrum. King, Poe, Koontz and their brethren, as well as campy Friday night horror movies, have planted the dark seed deep in my brain.

Stark and quiet Indiana climes helped it sprout.

Thanks for stopping by to take in a few nuggets -- I hope you enjoy them and that they might give you a chill now and then.
