almost 24 hours later... we have found out that there were 3 CONFIRMED tornadoes that touched down in my town. no one was killed, only 8 injuries (not major).
major damage near my cities mall and main "hangout" area (a little east of the mall). the second tornado also carved a DIRECT path through one of our hospitals. everyone was evacuated hours before, only one person was injured at the hospital (a worker) and they are okay now. school was delayed due to the damage. but nothing that cant be replaced.
the sirens didnt go off last night, only on the south east side of my city, which wasnt where they hit. they do not know why they didnt go off, they were tested 4 days before we needed them. they are currently fixing the system and talking to the person who controls the system at night.
thankfully, no one was majorly hurt. thats all that matter to our community. now its time for clean up. goodnight
