Hello everyone. After a shamefully long time, I have finally finished The Private Life of Newts.  When I came back to it after a break due to the pressures of work I had terrible writer's block. It wasn't that I didn't know how to finish the story it was just that my writing was rubbish. Anyway, perseverance paid off and Nick and Midge's story has reached its conclusion. I hope you enjoy it.
          	I'll be taking a bit of a break from writing but I'll drop in on Wattpad from time to time. I'm planning another book so I'm not stopping but I have a non-fiction book to write first. All the best my Wattpad friends.

@ireallyneedtoread I completely understand. Work has to come first and it sounds like you have more than enough to keep you busy! Definitely challenging and rewarding though. I'll be around when you find the time to write. Stay safe!

@ireallyneedtoread Hi thanks for checking in and I'm fine - I have had no energy to write because finally my creative career seems to be blossoming. I'm organising a  summer long arts festival which is a huge amount of work though very exciting and I'm also being paid to work on the translation of a non-fiction book into English - I;m the one tidying up the grammar etc! I have not forgotten about my books and I hope to get back to writing in the lubetween getting everything organised and the exhibition opening at the end of June. All the best!

Sorry about the gap in writing. The problem with being a freelancer is that work is like buses - you wait for ages then three come along at once! It's good for my finances but very bad for my writing. Will finish Newts as soon as I get a breathing space. Love to all and thanks for your patience.

Hello everyone - Chapter 34 of the Private Life of Newts is up. Hope you enjoy it.  For those of you who might not know, Rab C Nesbitt was a Glaswegian character in a sitcom that was very popular in Britain in the 1990's

Chapter 32 of the Private Life of newts - N ick and Midge battle on... 
          Hopefully now I'll be back to more frequent updates. Work has been hectic - organising the first event at the Art Centre but now that's done life should calm down again!
