I have been sick for the past 2 weeks-ish ... Getting back to writing now. Working on book 3 of my Searching for the Silent Lady series.

          I love sea stories and fantasy so this book really hit the right nerve for me. Without giving away any spoilers, I'll tell you it is the first episode in a continuing adventure-quest. The main character is a woman who captains a ship and uses her mystical powers in one high-pitched battle after another. Of course she has a goal but shes drawn off course in fantastic subplots. What really hooked me and kept me going is the author vivid writing style and the tension she creates in every scene. There are battles, transformations, romance, and all are told with details I could feel and smell and see. Looking forward to the next installment of this great new series.
