@Angelchild: ummm, not too long if you stick with it. I suggest you look up the basic chords and scales, they help lots! and then after you got that then you can find the lessons on youtube, they're really easy. I learned the basics in about... a week? ya i think so, an that was when i was 12. i've learned alot of song since. some easier fun songs are 'Slow ride', 'Hey there delilah', 'smoke on the water' and alot more. let me know if you need some advice and/or coaching, I'd be glad to help.
