Adrienne Thorne is a neurodivergent writer who grew up on a dairy farm, where she spent her free time shirking farm chores in order to write stories. She wrote her first novel at age twelve and had the audacity to submit it to several real publishers, all without her book-hating father ever realizing what the heck she was doing in her room all that time.

Though she didn't achieve success with that first novel, she was eventually able to get a much-improved version of a novel she wrote at age fourteen published. She recently sold the spec feature script adaptation of that novel to Believe Entertainment. Her other professional writing accomplishments include a produced feature screenplay and two placements in the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowship.

Adrienne holds BA degrees in communications and theology, as well as an MBA in film producing, from small Catholic universities that almost no one has heard of. She is married to her former high school boyfriend, with whom she parents a growing number of small children.

In the years since leaving behind farm life, Adrienne has proceeded to write about it in nearly all of her works, filling stories of rural living with vibrant characters and witty dialogue.
