Hello, I am a French woman born in 1989. So I guess I'm quite a few years older than the average Wattpad member 😊

I am a reader that exclusively uses the Wattpad apps: never once clicked my way through to the website. 
I favour English writing on here, not because French speakers do not write well but because when I joined the choice was quite limited in my mother tongue.

I love reading and I'd say my taste is quite ecclectic. But, to be honest, I mainly read sci-fi, fantasy, chicklit, young adult... NOVELS. 
I enjoy poetry and theater pieces too, but only in French.
I can get engulfed in (auto)biographies but only very unusual ones and I never actively search for them. 
Historical books bore me although I cannot really explain why.

I like fluid writing styles (if that makes any sense). Despite that, I realized I'm very tolerant on Wattpad as long as I find something appealing in the story such as a great plot, character development or an unexpected initial idea.
I'm also very patient - if it takes someone a year to update a story, I will not resent them for it and I definitely won't harass anyone.

I don't leave comments often but when I do it's because I really want to share an idea, an emotion or my awe with/of the author.
I'm a thousand times (and more) grateful to all the writers that share their stories with the community for free.

If you want me to highlight the typos I see, just let me know. I'll be glad to do so as I read along.

One last thing, I hate to be forced to (or harassed into) voting in any way. It's normal to be reminded that the option to vote for a chapter exists... but I'll like what I want to like and threats of not publishing new chapters if I don't vote will actually put me off from doing it.

I'm really glad for this App as it has allowed me to read the most unexpected stories. And I really enjoy falling upon an author that really sweeps you in their world!
