Dhrupad Mustapha
I am an aspiring writer in a country where writing is looked down upon as a past time and not a passion. I particularly love writing novels of the horror genre but I don't mind adapting to other genres as well. I am currently a college student so bear with me if I don't have a fixed schedule for posting the next installment.
I've joined Wattpad in the hopes of sharing my ideas and my writings to the world as well as meet new people who share my love for literature and the beauty of the heart. I'm melodramatic, I know, but that's just who I am and I'm not afraid to hide that, even in my works so I hope you find enjoyment in my hard work and remember:
"Only true beauty comes from the heart of the beholder"
Inspirations:
Most of my inspiration for the horror aspect of my novels comes from video games, such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill, two game series which have been near and dear to me ever since I was young, as well as books such as Stephen King's Shining and Pet Semetary which inspiredme to write at a young age.
 The more social commentary and eccentric humor of my stories come from my own two best friends who have inspired me to write Understanding What's Underneath  which closely represents their ordeals in their actual life and the inspiration from video games in this aspect include titles such as Persona, Yakuza/ Ryu Ga Gotoku.

I also LOVE anime and consider myself a trashy weeaboo. Favorite anime inspirations include Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Ghost in the Shell, etc. Japanese culture has always been a dormant aesthetic of mine for as long as I remember and I don't just love anime, I love all things Japan (except Natto miss me with that nasty shit)
