So I’ve been trying to put into words what Chadwick Boseman’s death means to me, and every time I end up sobbing like a baby into my pillow.
My whole pre-teen and early teenage years, my personality was solely based on Marvel. I read the comics illegally online because I didn’t have that much money to spend, I adapted traits from my favorite movies. When Black Panther, a character I’d seen in the comics, came out, I was immediately in love. T’challa was a character I adored, because he was so calm in the face of adversity. I adapted my personality as such.
Chadwick was an inspirational person in all his roles as well as in real life, and was taken from this earth too soon.
Black Panther will always live on. Like they say in the movie, death isn’t the end, it’s a turning point.
Rest in Power, King
