Okay, attempt two is finally out, after months! It's more focused on one fella in particular this time, too! Sorry for spamming the published chapters, and I hope anyone who decides to read it enjoys!

Also, I hope the cover isn't too bad, I'm not 100% happy with it and might change it in the future, but I hopefully it suffices as is! :)

Afflicted-Alibis

@Mntalillnessexprt Ahh, that’s great! I wish you luck with your fic when you get around to writing it! Happy I could inspire you in such a way! : D
And of course! Smut is overrated anyways, lol
          	  (Essay appreciated <3)

Thank you :DD
You've been my favourite author on Wattpad (maybe ever...) since I first found your 049 fic nearly 2-3 years ago-- and You've been a massive inspiration for me in terms of writing; I've decided that I'm gonna write my own Wattpad fic after graduating...
AND THANK YOU FOR NOT MAKING ALL YOUR FICS SMUT-ORIENTATED It's a relief to see something not smutty on Wattpad for once :')
(Sorry for the essay, but I appreciate you/your works)

Yo I kinda wanna join the SCP Fandom. Is it worth it?

Afflicted-Alibis

Ah, I’m actually probably not the best person to ask this— but, to try and answer anyway, I would say so! I’m not really /in/ the fandom (I know, funny to hear, considering I’ve written fic for it), but the community is very wide and diverse, and there’s practically an endless amount of different sides to it to explore. The wiki itself and the lore on The Foundation alone runs pretty deep. SCP is notorious mostly for its horror, but there is much more than that.
If you’re into mystery and lore and exploration and the strange and unusual, I’d say the fandom’s a good place for you.
Hope that helps, and apologies if not. :>

Are there any other scps you plan on writing.

Afflicted-Alibis

Honestly, I haven’t really thought much of writing anything SCP related in the past three years since I finished Adoration…

Curious, though, was there a particular one you were looking for?

i just had a question about the ending of 035. I totally get the betrayal, i really reflects his personality albeit hurting so much but what about the chapters written in 035’s POV? they clearly show some sort of affection towards y/n and he wouldn’t lie to myself in his own mind so could you explain why the sudden change of heart?
love your stories and thank u x

Afflicted-Alibis

Hm, I mean, that's definitely not an easy thing to answer! xD

I think, by that point, Y/N would have been warped to be completely devoted to 035, and thus there would be no reason for "betrayal." At least, for the most part. In the specific cases such as sacrificing Y/N to save himself IF there were no other choice, well.. 035 maybe adore and be devoted to Y/N, but he is, above all else, selfishly motivated, so he would betray Y/N in that case if need be. Granted, it would hurt him to do so, but he would do it. The selfish mask would not die for even his most beloved, unfortunately.

So... both? Yes, things would change, but also, yes, it is possible he would betray them. It honestly just really depends on the context of the situation and how exactly he would be betraying them.

But, that's all just speculation. I'm not against alternative interpretations of what he would or wouldn't do. ;P

okay thanks a lot, that really clears it up for me. now, i hate using “if’s” but if they didn’t get caught, do you think 035 would have betrayed y/n regardless even if in a different way later on or would things have changed over time? i know this isn’t the ending you planned im just interested in your opinion. thanks again :)

@xSukoon Yeah! 035 is... complicated. He did/does adore Y/N, but he IS 035, so nothing comes without selfish motivations. He was obsessed and overly attached to Y/N in a way, and, to him, he NEEDED Y/N to regard him in the same way... and with how strained and difficult things already were (especially due to the whole Newman situation and how that made Y/N view 035), what better way to do it than through thorough manipulation?

He could have used his abilities to do it directly, but his idea of love and care came with "sparing" Y/N of what he did to everyone else. After all, isn't he so nice for taking the time to manipulate them properly/subtly and not force it upon them directly? (/rh) Besides, manipulating them with his abilities would have been difficult (he couldn't keep it up forever), and would have made their affections for him, well, less real.

With all of that in mind, I wouldn't say it was a sudden change of heart. Rather, it was just revealed frustrations that he hadn't built Y/N up to what he wanted (or felt he needed) them to be in time. In the end, 035 does love them in his own twisted way... but that's what it is: twisted. He was just as manipulative as Newman in the end (if, arguably, not more). He loves them, he is possessive over them... but he loves using them for his own gain and using them to rid of his loneliness even more. This is 035, after all.

That was a lot, but I hope that clears things up! Glad you love my stories, and thanks for asking! I love going in depth about my writing ;D

And, well, to try and be short but thorough, I'm not sure if I'll write another? I've considered it, but I have plans to publish my own original works for my writing career (I don't mean on Wattpad), which I've been more focused on, and thus less motivated to write fanfics. So, it's a maybe at most! ^^||
IF I were to... It would most likely take place as a continuation of Rose Petals, but it would *not* be an EJ x reader and would follow a different Y/N (something sort of like how my SCP fics take place in one universe, if you've read those). As for who it would be with... well, I'm sure you know, but if you don't, I'm up to leaving it as a surprise in case I do decide to write it. ;P
