In my life, I have finished only three books. Hell House, Kill Creek and Goodbye And Hello. Well good news for you. Your unrelenting and passionate storytelling made me write my second book, Barely Exists. I'm still bringing out a few more stories in it, and it is only reading someone else's story does a person truly get out of his writer's block, and shift towards something better. You have shown how one can hook on someone with powerful character development, impeccable narration and a simple 'no over-the-top use of language jargons'.
You know, for every author, their work is like a small child to them. They nurture, and create that child with the best of their love and efforts, with hours of patience. A story is actually born in the writer's deep labyrinth, and protudes out as a book. I really loved Goodbye And Hello.
I can still remember that I used to finish my dinner, and allot the last hours of my day to read your book and get to sleep. It turned into a passive routine. I was surprised when I saw, oh, the book has finished. I couldn't find time to read sometimes, and I didn't want to read half-heartedly.
You are a good author, although goodness has no limits. You can always create something that outperforms your previous work, but that doesn't dull the charm of your work. It is a book worthy to get featured in Wattys Award, and maybe win.
Write more, some heartbreaking romances, a love which lets the readers sob and reach out for their tissue.
Love and admiration,
Advik.
