Agent-Iowa
"Oh, man. I don't wanna die to this song." Coming back into consciousness, Sgt. Recker opens his eyes, looking out the front windshield and seeing that he and his team are surrounded by water. He notices in particular that air bubbles are moving up and away. They're sinking, and fast. "Hey Irish. You know what kinda fish they have in Baku?" Dunn, Tombstone's squad leader jokes, attempting to reduce the tension of his soldiers trapped in the car alongside him. Recker comes to full attention, darting up and grabbing whatever hand holds he can, stabilizing himself while gasping for air. "Negative, Staff Sergeant." Irish replies. Noticing that Recker is awake, he shifts his attention over to his teammate, making sure he's okay. "Hey, Recker, Recker, you conscious? Get back in the game, man. Stay with me." He says, checking over Recker for any injuries and making sure he isn't pinned like his squad leader. Speaking of his squad leader, Recker's attention shifts to Dunn, who is now pinned in by his seat, keeping him stuck to the roof of the car as it's upside down. Pac is anxiously searching for a way to free his commanding officer, beginning to panic. "Nice play, Recker. That was some of the finest driving I've ever seen." Dunn says to Recker, notable pain in his voice from his amputated leg. "Right there until the end. Hit the light, Pac." Pac turns on the roof light, now at their feet from the flipped car, as Dunn winces from the bright light being activated right in his face. "This seat won't budge." Irish says, attempting to brute force the seat away to free Dunn. "You're pinned in, Sergeant." Dunn attempts to calm down his squadmate in this dire situation. "Irish, the worst thing we can do in a situation like this is panic." He says, to no avail. "You talk like that, man you scare the crap out of me."
Agent-Iowa
Don't worry, I'm working on it. I may or may not have another teaser drop soon since I've felt like being in a writing mood for the past few months. First chapter is almost finished too!
