I sighed, I decided to not go after him, he needs time to calm down, when he comes back later tonight, I'll talk to him, try to make him understand the emotional anguish I went through. If it wasn't for Kyle I probably would have died of a broken heart. That's the thing about mates, most of the time, when the 2 are separated one or both die when their wolves give up on life thinking life isn't worth living without their mates, first the wolf dies then slowly, but surely, the human dies.
I walked into the pack house and before I could even look up, I was tackled to the floor by Anna.
'' Ohmygosh! Adrianna! If you ever leave us again, I swear to God, I'll find you myself and murder you! never do that again! Do you understand me!? '' she said, still hugging me, still on the floor.
I laughed, '' Yes! Yes! I understand! I thought it was what's best for you guys, I didn't want anyone to get hurt because of this whole thing ''
'' I understand that but you could have been killed! The next time you do something this stupid- wait, no. There won't be a next time, do you hear me? ''
'' Yes, mum '' I said sarcastically, then I realised we'd attracted an audience, all who were looking at us strangely. And my, did we look strange, the quietest girl in the pack, on top of the Luna, on the floor, yelling at her. No wonder people looked at us like we'd grown 2 heads.
Anna realised people were around us and got up from me and helped me up. '' Come on, I want to hear all about it. '' She took me up to her room and shooed Chase out, who just told me a brief welcome back. After he was out of ear shot, I started the story.
