A little taste for you guys
          
          [ I repeat, asteroids are hitting the earth! Asteroids are hitting the earth! This is not a hoax, nor is it an attack from any of our enemies...]. 
          
          As the news anchor spoke, a video feed replaces him and an image of the sky came into view. Far up into the sky, you could see a large dark object. It was moving fast; cutting through the air like a sharp knife through butter. Then that same piercing noise came through the speakers of my smart-tv. I bought the thing for a more realistic experience. And it was worth every penny, until today. Barely having the volume at level ten, it still sounded as if it was higher; due to the surround sound. The colors were brighter and it felt as if I was right there with them. Streaks of bright orange and red with black smoke, was trailing behind the giant flaming object. At first, I couldn't really make it out, then the cameraman must have read my mind. He zoomed in on it and I saw it. 
          
          My heart dropped so fast to my toes they hurt. My breath caught hard in my throat, losing any ability to speak. Then my brain explodes in that moment as realization hit me like a ton of bricks, the anchorman was telling the truth. I literally felt braindead. My poor small mind couldn't wrap itself around what was right in front of my eyes. The asteroid was as big as a house and just as wide, it flew passed over the cameraman as he followed with shaky hands. 
          
          "Holy Shit!" I somehow found my voice, but it didn't sound like me. My eyes tried there best to focus in and out on the screen but again they couldn't believe what they were seeing. My brain was spinning out of control, unable to register the scene that was playing. He zoomed back out, giving the viewers a full view of what was happening. In that moment it felt like someone had hit the slow-mo button. And all, went deafening quiet.

Just so you know I will be going back and forth with all of my books. If you see me working on just one book right doesn't mean I have forgotten about the others. Some times when I'm working on a book ideas came in stronger at the moment for another and so I have to get it down before I forget. Lol my brain works on scattered mood
