Hii, just wanted to say I've read The American today and it's amazing, a really good plot and everything so I was wondering, do you plan on continuing it?

Hello everyone. Just a little update from me.
          
          I want to let you all know that I have not forgotten about this story. My goal is to finish it, but I am a full-time student and haven’t had the time to give it the attention it needs. Unfortunately, my hiatus continues. 
          
          I noticed that I lost about 10k total views on the story somehow. Not sure how that happens. Regardless, I still enjoy the increase in views and votes. Thank you guys so much for all the love.

Two new chapters have been posted, and a third is in the works. They are more plot-based, but I hope you all enjoy nonetheless.

          I would like to thank everyone for the views and votes so far. I’m glad everyone is enjoying my story. 
          
          I also want to apologize for not updating it in over a month. I’ve been struggling with trying to find time to write. This is an especially tough semester for me. So I have decided to do this. 
          
          I am going to wait until this semester ends to finish my story. I just can’t afford to get anything less than straight As because of my major. My finals are the first week of December, then after that I am on winter break. 
          
          I appreciate everyone who is being patient with me so far, and I’m truly sorry for making you all wait. I do not intent on abandoning this story and will do everything I can to ensure that it continues as soon as my winter break starts.

Hey Aislyn! I just came to ask when the next chapter is coming out. Please take as much time as you need to finish it though. I kinda got scared that you were abandoning the book. 
          
          Please continue writing because there are many people that enjoy reading this book!

My apologies for taking so long with the next chapter. School projects are really piling up this week. (nursing school is fabulous) I'm aiming to post a chapter this weekend, though. Stay tuned.

I'm debating on commissioning a proper cover page for my Akutagawa x Reader. Does anyone have any suggestions on an artist who can draw Akutagawa pretty well?
