Hey, I'm Akeelah - professional overthinker, part-time dirt goblin, full-time romantic disaster.

I write soft sapphic things and mildly unhinged characters. If there's magic, mayhem, emotional devastation, or two people desperately trying not to confess their feelings while the world burns behind them- I'm absolutely feral for it.

When I'm not emotionally mauling fictional people, I'm probably knee-deep in a fantasy book that's going to wreck me, curled up with a game I swore I'd only play "for an hour" or being dragged into the wilds by my girlfriend- feral goblin of my heart- who can persuade me into anything with nothing but a smile. I go willingly. I have no defense. 

At home, I'm bossed around by a 200-pound lapdog named Indigo who thinks she's palm-sized, and a chaotic cat named Jack- Captain Jacquline Sparrow, if she's feeling regal. Which is always. They're both dramatic. I am outnumbered.

I also have Turtle Syndrome™, which means I vanish into cozy oblivion with little to no warning. Blankets. Snacks. Radio silence. But I always come back, craving good conversation and emotionally catastrophic book recs.
