Struggle for Olympus is a project I have been working on Since 2010. It was an idea I started on 16 years ago. Its a dark Sci-Fi setting taking place in 2457, detailing a humanity more grounded in reality in tone than most Science fictions.  Where there are no clear cut "Good" or "Bad" guys, where "right" and "wrong" depended on perspective and ideology.  
          
           The Idea started out as back drop for a mod for a game called Decent: FreeSpace. Me and my a friend of mine started modding project for shits and giggles.  I wrote most of the background writing, and in game mission writing. 
          
          However like most projects, we became disinterested part of the way through.  And I ended up with documents full of background fluff and nothing to do with it. A year after we abandoned the project, I started writing short stories from the setting, which I've never posted anywhere, and eventually forgot about it... at least until about 4 months ago. 
          
           I've put aside most of the shorts and figured it was time to make an actual story out of all this stuff I had laying around.  I might still post some of the shorts later, or use them for something else. But Struggle for Olympus: Guardsmen is the child of those old documents I had, and I'm glad to now have the chance to share this with everyone.  I'm hoping to have this completed by New Years 2026, but who knows.

So I think its time to Release the Title of the Next Story: "Icarus Ascending."

I have started laying the foundation to begin writing a new story.  If everything goes well I may post the first chapter on Christmas eve. 
          
          This may be a smaller one, more focused, but we will see how it comes out. More detail will be given as we get closer to the date.

Updated chapter 18 of Forgotten Soul,

So, I believe my next project will be going back through Forgotten Soul and fattening it up a bit. I'm not changing the plot but there's areas that could use some pumping up and some clarification.  Maybe add some more consistency to the story.  
          
          I'm also giving some characters more motivation and page time. Dallas' character for instance, I feel was a missed opportunity for explaination. I will post major changes/additions as they happen. 
          
          Also, I have begun my process for the next story. If everything goes well with Forgotten soul, I will begin posting the next story on New Years day. It will be my project for 2025.

Titan is completed.  Time to rest.

I think I can devote enough time to have the next chapter out on Friday of next week. I will keep pushing for a chapter a week, and I'll update you if that's not possible.
