I've been writing and playing songs on guitar since I was 15. I wakened up one morning with an idea in my head and my wife said; "That sounds interesting, you should try writing that down"
So I did.
It was like turning on a tap that I couldn't turn off, four books, numerous short story's and poems later and the tap is still running.
I kinda see it as a quite natural progression from the musical lyric to the written word.
