Alanda was born in Jakarta, 23 February 1991.

Since the publication of her novel debut in the age of 14, her writings have been featured in various media, including the UN's flagship magazine, UN Chronicle. She has written four books on her own (Mint Chocolate Chips, Vice Versa, DreamCatcher, Travel Young), and four books as a co-writer (Pertama Kalinya!, The Journeys 2, Jika, Beats Apart).
