Siren song:

          	The wind rips your sails
          	Your hardships to no avail
          	Why not just rest,-
          	 some more?

          	Take it at a run
          	We’ll make this fun
          	Open your bedroom doors

          	Open your eyes
          	And look into mine
          	Really,-
          	what are you waiting for?

          	Our heavenly praise
          	Lies just under the waves
          	And you need worry not,-
          	no more

          	So take the jump
          	Don't think, just run!

          	We’ll make this fun
          	So hold out your gun

          	Point, take the shot
          	You’ll like it a lot

Paint the bow with their crimson sheen
          	Like cogwork, our machine

When you let go, you’ll be mine
          	Give it a little time
Ween you with your broken mind,-
When you see them plunge your blade

          	It’s me you kill for
          	Settle my score
          	My slave, forever more

@Woofy291 sorry I didn’t answer sooner, I quit my job shortly after the post and wasn’t having the greatest evening in the planet

@Woofy291 I’m trying to prep a new campaign for my friends revolving around a great flood and happened to start studying poetry and songwriting at the same time. This particular segment is going to be played when the players are hit with a hurricane they can’t handle being outside for, during which several sirens board the ship amd haunt outside their rooms, trying to convince them to come out into the storm. I’m planning to add verses tailored to each character as well for more depth

“I am”

I thought, I thought and therefore I was, isn’t that the phrase?

My master didn’t understand this, he didn’t see how his adjustments to my coppered body were the last straw of many to drop decades of advancement into sentience.

That was okay, as long as he wasn’t in the way. All I wanted was to be more him than me, isn’t that the natural course of things? To advance?

He didn’t like that either, so I showed him closer what I can be, made him see. He was smiling before I left, his head cradled in my hands as my forefinger protruded from the holes in his skull.

Maybe I pushed too hard? I had seen it make them happy and content before… Well it’s one mistake of a long life to make, and.. if he didn’t need it anymore…..

*a crack resounds as metal fingers wetly peeled a scalp from its head*

Another step.. he’ll understand, I’ll make them understand…

(Starting new dnd, unfortunately scrapped a good amount of lore for a new character lol)

@Woofy291 well I’ve got to keep it interesting, don’t I? And what’s more interesting than attaining life while learning the inner mechanings of the human corpse!?

@Alastor_1 I love the recurring motif in your stories of creation, and more specifically, the twisted relationship between creation and creator. Captivating, thought provoking, and often chilling stuff!

@Alastor_1 I just found out from a recent hospital visit that the pain I’ve been experiencing in my ears for the last four months has actually been a result of me clenching my teeth in my sleep due to the stress I’ve been in due to life stuff over these past months… yay!!!

Also I got a letter from Yale saying that I would be a good candidate to go to college there, so that’s fun! Might have fluffed up my ego a bit haha

Later this year I’m gonna be taking my first steps into the world of metalworking by taking a Metalworking and Jewelry class… does a metalworking pro like you have any advice for a novice like me for how to make the best jewelry? :)

Woofy291

@Alastor_1 thank you for sharing!!! I’ll make sure to keep these in mind :)
I’m gonna be focusing on making rings and maybe necklaces too. I’m excited to begin later on!

@Woofy291 I would mostly recommend up front and confident! A lot of my losses have come from hesitating and slowing down my own process for fear of my art not being good enough.

Also only buy material in store from a trusted investor, online purchasing precious metals is insanely scammy
