Hello, I am Alaura Westphal, I have been writing since I was four, writing short stories since I was six, started enjoying writing since i was seven. I love animals as much if not more than writing. Although I have no friends I am very friendly and never have I once been angry enough to hurt someone. As many others I have been bullied all my life, I found that I could escape into writing when I was in second grade. I wrote many short stories and when I started writing I never could stop. I started Junior high a year ago (I am in 8th grade) and not once have I not been in a creative writing class. One day when we were reading others stories a girl who I thought liked me wrote a very mean story about me. I tried to play dumb and act fine but on the inside I could feel her hatred for me. I was upset but I decided not to look at the fact that she wrote such mean things about me (She changed the name slightly, it was Alara :P ) and the fact that the plot and dialog were great, easy to understand and had an okay description. She wasn't the only one who bullied me in seventh (When it happened, I was bullied since I was in kindergarten) a group of girls constantly made fun of me for being friends with an awkward kid who had none. I admit I wanted to fight back but I knew it was pointless. Instead of taking my anger and pain out on them I took it and turned it into a story, Dancing in the Flames. I am surprised anyone would actually take notice in my writing considering all the other amazing stories. I thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it.
