That's the number of vaccines India administered on 17th September 2021, Friday, breaking every previous record. Every single vaccine was administered for free by the Government of India. A feat that happened perfectly on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's birthday.

No country in the world, even the most prosperous or powerful, has even dreamed of achieving this. Jai Hind!

I wish India's PM Shri Narendra Modi a very happy birthday today. And today, India has shattered its record by administering over 2 crore vaccines. Congratulations!

Today, as I was reminded by a good friend, is September 1st. Somewhere in England we may assume that a scarlet engine is chugging away.

Coincidentally, today is the 'golden jubilee', or the 50th anniversary of the day when the three legendary wizards and a rotten little rat-face, collectively called the Marauders, met for the first time.

It is also the 30th anniversary of the first time the Golden Trio met.

Maybe today another great story begins, with little wizards with an unbelievable destiny meeting on the Hogwarts Express. Perhaps a cliché, but just maybe another historical event occurring in the Wizarding World is reflecting here as a pandemic?

Imo he would not be a marauder if he was not great at sometime lmao. Also, they trusted him so much (enough to make him the secret keeper later) which means he was trustworthy once and that makes the betrayal hurt even more.

We did it! India administered just over 1 crore (10 million) vaccines in a single day today. India's PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji called it a 'momentous feat'. The Modi Sarkar is the definition of efficiency.

Funnily, though, right in April when India was reporting around 4 lakh (0.4 million) cases a day, it was all over the headlines, with the media making it very big, and people criticizing Modi Ji. And now, when India reports close to 35,000 to 40,000 cases a day, and when all predictions of a third wave in mid-August have had to bite the dust, and when India has steadily been reaching this milestone of 1 crore vaccines in a day till today, somehow the media remains astonishingly quiet. So unbiased, I am deeply touched.

"Partition’s pains can never be forgotten. Millions of our sisters and brothers were displaced and many lost their lives due to mindless hate and violence. In memory of the struggles and sacrifices of our people, 14th August will be observed as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day."

          — Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India

On 14th August 1947, India was partitioned into two countries by the British - one Muslim dominant, and the other Hindu dominant. This resulted in the most horrible violence with more than a million people dying and nearly fifteen million people displaced. All Indians shall remember this day, for an irreversible blunder had been made.
