About the Author - A.J. Gabriel

A.J. Gabriel is a Filipino nurse, writer, and silent warrior whose journey as an Overseas Filipino Worker led her to discover not only the world-but the strength within herself.

She writes to heal. To remember. To give voice to the stories often left untold-the quiet grief behind a smile, the strength behind service, and the truth behind what it really means to chase a dream far from home.

Through her honest, poetic storytelling, A.J. shares the raw realities of life abroad, mental health, and love for family, while gently reminding others: you are not alone, and your story matters.

The Other Side of the Dream is her first memoir.
It is both a love letter and a lifeline-for every OFW who ever felt like they were breaking in silence.
