rules for leaving the house alone at night: dress more masculine (less likely to be harassed, followed, etc.) bring some sort of self defense; pepper spray, tazer, knife, etc BE AWARE also look someone in the eyes if they're following u, less likely to do anything if u acknowledge that u know they're there
