Hey there! My name is Alex, and I love reading and writing teen fiction, artsy adult fiction, and poetry. My first short story was written in fourth grade, and I have been writing ever since.

Semi-interesting facts: I was born and raised in small town USA, and over the course of the last 5 years I have found myself moving from a small town in one state to another in increasingly colder climates. I am a wannabe minimalist that collects stones, antique books, and journals of varying traits. I consider myself a part-time plant-based vegan. I am also the queen of self-deprecating humor, at least to my reflection.

Bands I adore: Deathcab for Cutie, Lord Huron, Tame Impala, TWRP, and NSP.

Loved authors: Oscar Wilde, John Steinbeck, Neil Gaiman, Melissa Marr, Mary E. Pearson, and Lauren DeStefano.  

Other fun tidbits: I am a huge fan of YouTube and watch it more than any other form of entertainment. I am obsessed with Harry Potter and was sorted into Slytherin no less than four times. I am an anxious introvert that loves making people smile and laugh, but I tend to be a bit dark and twisty which shows most in my writing.
